One of the best things that you can do to improve your skills in reading nursing research, is to read and interpret research articles regularly. For that reason each quarter in practicum, you will be finding at least one research article related to the practicum topics, reading it closely, and interacting with it in some way.
For the first two quarters, we want you to have quick success in finding an article, so we have restricted the search to six high-impact, core nursing research journals. In later quarters you will have more freedom around the journal title and topic selection, but we hope that you will still see that for any topic there are key journal titles that cover that topic particularly well.
