Please note that as of 10/20/2025, the award book collection is being updated as we work to acquire the books from 2024 and 2025.

You will need to know two things in order to find a book on the shelf at the SPU Library:
1. The call number. This is the string of letters and numbers unique to each book that indicate where it is in order on the shelf. Find the call number in the SPU Library Catalog after it says "available." For example, Available , Juvenile ; PZ7.S1273 Ar 2012
2. Location of The Juvenile Collection. This is the area on the Third Level of the SPU Library where the children's and young adult literature is shelved. It is pulled out from the General Collection. When you locate the Juvenile Collection, use the call number to find the book on the shelf. If you need help, locating the book, please ask a staff member on the Main Level for assistance.

You can also request that a book be pulled from the shelf, checked out, and put on the contactless pickup cart for you. In the catalog, when you are looking at the information about the book, find the request link.
