Student Engagement and Student Success in the Classroom

Campus Resources

You are not alone! Everyone on campus is part of the student success team.

Referring your student to another unit on campus does not mean you are failing or abandoning your student. It is modeling for your student how to make use of all the important resources at SPU.

Consider walking with your student to the needed service point or support them while they write an email that gets them in touch with the resources they need.

Center for Student Success: Includes Academic Coaching, Tutoring, Study Skills Resources, and Disability Support Services

Research, Reading, and Writing Studio: individual assistance at any point during the writing process for any type of writing

Student Support Team (SPU Login Required) : SST  "intervenes on behalf of any undergraduate student who is struggling academically, health-wise, socially or personally. Our aim is to provide extra support and services so they can continue as a student.  In your role as faculty or staff it may be evident to you that a student needs assistance for one specific issue. Our hope is that this wiki will be a resource for you as we work as a campus who provide guidance for a wide variety of student needs."
