HIS 3725 Women and Gender in the [Muslim] Middle East

Journal & Periodical Indices ("Databases") at SPU

Don't forget that all of SPU's EBSCOhost and all of SPU's ProQuest databases can be searched simultaneously.  For this feature in the EBSCOhost databases, look for the link entitled Choose Databases.  For the same thing in ProQuest databases, look for the link entitled Change Databases

I mention this because it can be hard to predict which of SPU's databases will have incorporated articles on a given topic in Middle Eastern studies from a given angle (say contemporary Sociology).  The University of Washington's Index Islamicus (below), for example, was returning a number of articles on my demonstration-topic that happened to be indexed in the SPU database of literary studies (called the MLA International Bibliography) as well.

Better, then, perhaps, just to note again that all of SPU's EBSCOhost and all of SPU's ProQuest databases can be searched simultaneously, if not necessarily by the same official Subject terms.
