When you include images in your poster project, you must add the following information
Everything is aligned on the left (no centering).
1. Figure number. This should be above the image and bolded.
2. Title. Two lines down from the figure number, put a brief title in italics and title case. Not bolded.
3. The image.
4. A note. Two lines down from the image, put a note. The word "note" should be capitalized and italicized. The note should give more information about the image, especially something you wish to highlight or explain.
5. Attribution. Right after the note, put the word "From" (not in quotes) and give information about where you got the image.
- For an authored book, Title of Book (x ed., p. xx), by A. Author, Year, Publisher.
- The page is the page the image appeared on.
- Include edition written numerically (e.g. 2nd) for editions after the first (i.e. do not put 1st ed.)
- For an edited book, Title of Chapter (p. xx), by A. Author, in B. Editor & C. Editor (Eds.), Title of Book (x ed., pp. xx–xx), Year, Publisher (https://doi.org/xxxx).
- The first page is the page the image appeared on
- The second set of pages is the page numbers of the chapter
- Include edition written numerically (e.g. 2nd) for editions after the first (i.e. do not put 1st ed.)
- For eBooks, include DOI for chapter if available
- For a journal article, "Title of the Article," by A. Author, Year, Journal Name, Volume(Issue), p. xx (https://doi.org/xxxx).
- The page number is the page the image appeared on
- For a website, Title of the Page or Image, by Name of Organization or A. Author, Year, Website Name (URL).
- When the author is same as the website name, omit the site name.
6. Citation. In your References List, you need an entry for the image. This will be a regular citation and does not include specific information about the image itself.
