Power Point Presentation

Handouts

THE COMMENTS IN THIS PARAGRAPH ON GETTING PERSONAL ACCOUNTS SET UP AT THE UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON'S SUZZALLO LIBRARY AND SEATTLE UNIVERSITY'S LEMIEUX LIBRARY ARE UNREFLECTIVE OF THE CURRENT SITUATION, GIVEN THAT BOTH ARE CLOSED UNDER COVID, WHETHER ABSOLUTELY IN THE CASE OF THE UW, OR TO OUTSIDERS IN THE CASE OF SU.  FOR NOW YOU MUST RELY UPON SUMMIT BORROWING ALONE (THE DEFAULT FOR MOST PEOPLE ANYWAY):  In addition to the handouts below, I usually provide maps of the two other Orbis Cascade Alliance campuses in town with theological collections, for those who would like to go over and get personal library accounts set up:

  • University of Washington (in the box to the right, select libraries).  To get an account set up, bring your SPU ID to the office of Library Account Services between the hours listed at that last link.  You will then be asked to log in to your SPU account so that its currency can be verified and its expiration date extracted.  The office of Library Account Services is located to the right of Suzzallo Circulation (to the left as you're facing the Circulation Desk) on the First Floor of Suzzallo Library.  Once your account has been set up, you should be able to check books out at any time the University of Washington libraries are open to outsiders.
  • Seattle University.  To get an account set up, bring your SPU ID to the Circulation and Reserves Desk on the Third Floor of the Lemieux Library & McGoldrick Learning Commons.
