Statistics

You may want to include statistics in your introduction. For example, if your experimental food is aimed toward diabetics, you would want to include some statistics on how many people are diagnosed with diabetes, how many hospital visits are by people diagnosed with diabetes and how many people die each year from diabetes, etc.
