Find a record or video recording from the archives to read/view that you might use as source material for your final project. Write a brief summary and describe how it may be incorporated into your project. The Kenneth Tollefson Papers inventory has a number of options that you might choose from and we may find more sources in the archives.
Write an argument-driven paper that makes a strong interpretation of the Tlingit Totem, supported by further research and comparison with other objects.
Create an exhibit around the Tlingit Totem.
You should submit both the artwork itself and an “artist’s statement” describing its purpose, methods, and results.
