Trace your Roots

Set a Research Plan

Ask yourself the following questions:

  1. What do I know? - Begin with yourself and work backwards
  2. What do I want to know? - Where are there gaps in your knowledge?
  3. Where can I find what I want to know? - Birth, marriage, death certificates, census data, or DNA test
  4. How will you record the evidence/stay organized? - Family Group Sheets, Ancestry Charts, or Software

Stay Organized
